Teach for America, City Year & Reading Partners

Lazarus Forward designed and facilitated a four-hour interactive workshop entitled "Developing and Managing Your Career."  The workshop provided 45 current and former AmeriCorps members with concrete actions and tools to assess their strengths, develop their personal brand, write strong resumes and cover letters, build their network and community, prepare for informational and formal interviews, negotiate, and transition to a new role. Participants were so thrilled with the training that the partners asked Lazarus to deliver the workshop again the following year to a larger group. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Lazarus delivered a revised version of the training to more than 100 Reading Partners AmeriCorps members via Zoom.
